Déjame aquí, an immersive virtual space that seeks to capture the interplay between individual consciousness, collective unconsciousness, and memory through the immersive experience of riding a bus in Bogotá predating the implementation of the standardized SITP buses in 2012.
The project offers a two-level first-person immersive experience featuring original low-poly 3D-modeled environments and characters. Functionally, the journey will begin at a bus stop where the subject will be met by a bus designed after now discontinued independently driven buses that served as a cultural and time vehicle and capsule.
The project offers a two-level first-person immersive experience featuring original low-poly 3D-modeled environments and characters. Functionally, the journey will begin at a bus stop grounded in Bogota where the subject will be met by a bus designed after now discontinued independently driven buses introduced in the 50s predating the implementation of the standardized SITP buses in 2012. Participants will move through the bus and interact with its passengers, listening to their conscious thoughts presented through a mix of original narratives in English, French, and Spanish.
This project was initially developed during the residency Paris XR by Forum des Image at Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.
